Who We Are
Transformational Herbal Pharmacy is a dispensary based in Washington D.C. and serving practitioners all over the country. Our full-service dispensary carries a wide selection of over 300 raw Chinese herbs and granules from leading high-quality suppliers, specialized CBD products, patent herbal formulas, and dietary supplements.
We also offer grinding, cutting, and encapsulation services with decoction services added in the near future. Our trained staff is available for herbal consultations to discuss any questions our customers may have about herbal formulas.
We Believe in a Responsible Approach to Sourcing, Preparation, and Processing
We source from the most reputable suppliers to ensure we offer Chinese herbs and products that adhere to the strictest quality and purity standards. In addition to only sourcing from these leading wholesale herb suppliers, our herbal pharmacy follows the dispensing guidelines set by the NCCAOM, including standards for cleaning, sanitation, design, storage, record keeping, and inspections. Our trained staff is committed to upholding these quality and safety practices and is happy to answer any questions you may have.

Our Story
Founder Dr. Adam Miramon, DACM, DiplOM, LAc started their education in Chinese herbal medicine while earning their Masters in Acupuncture. After gaining a solid foundation in this practice they continued their education through an intensive two-year program to dive deeper into this branch of medicine. However, after running a solo clinic for 8 years and a group clinic, they realized the significant need for a full-service, reliable herbal pharmacy. It was Adam’s own desire to give their patients faster access to high-quality Chinese herbs that led them to establish a dispensary for other practitioners looking to do the same for their patients.
Now practitioners from Washington D.C. and beyond have an herbal dispensary they can rely on for fast, easy access to the best raw herbs and granules available.
Our Team
Transformational Herbal Pharmacy was founded by Dr. Adam Miramon, DACM, DiplOM, LAc in 2023. The team is comprised of a dedicated group of practitioners who have Master’s degrees in Chinese Medicine and training in Chinese herbal medicine. From treating headaches to digestive disorders, anxiety to muscle and/or bone pain, we use our deep love and understanding of this transformative medicine to support the health of our local patients.
